1 year agoIt hadn't occurred to me that this could have been a private citizen's work, but looking at it now I think it may be.
1 year agoI might be able to bend the securing hook to get more clearance from the disc, but that wouldn't help with the other problem.
1 year agoI rode with them there until the lunch stop, then put them back on the front. This was taken early in the day.
1 year agoI missed that detail, and also the etching of the original name of the building. Must've been fixated on the bike, other decorations, and lunch.

There are more developing since the repaving a couple years back and are starting to need more visibility. I should start carrying a can of white spray paint...
Now I see this photo - Jacinto almost always has trouble with his foot hitting the pannier (size 13 feet). He has rim brakes. Just imagine if he had disk brakes . . .
