1 year agoSo far, so GREAT!!! Every mile I ride validates further the choices and decisions I made when having it built. It's *exactly* what I had imagined and hoped it would be.

1 year agoIt sounds like Serenity (your bike) is treating you well. I'm glad this tour has not been uphill all the way or filled with flat tires like your insane journey from Oregon to Wyoming.
1 year agoI've seen several more since posting this photo, but since they all look similar I've refrained from additional shots.
1 year agoIt's actually made of fabric. After I took the photo I straightened it up so that it would be more visible to riders, and to make it look lees like a neon version of The Sorting Hat.
1 year agoProbably because it's where I was first exposed to him, I've always inclined toward Minnesota as the birthplace as well.

1 year agoThere is a longstanding dispute between Bemidji and some town in New England as to who has the biggest Paul Bunyan statue. As a Minnesotan, I'm biased toward Bemidji. As an American, I'm just glad someplace in Europe or Australia hasn't entered the fray.
