It is a nice campsite. Rachael and I tented here 33 years ago, on our first biking overnight together.

Mostly she will stay with my brother with a short stint at a kennel that is run by people who run shelter where I adopted her. So she will be well taken care of.

So you’re off tomorrow! Hope you made it to Redmond with no problems. Watch out for the virus on your trip; a lot of folks east of us haven’t been as quick to be vaccinated as we were.

I don’t think I knew about your dad, the push pins, and the map on the wall. That’s pretty sweet actually.

Karen, thanks for the invite to follow. Looks like it’ll be a great ride. When you get to W Yellowstone, I have friends there. Maybe put you up and show you what ‘Hot Potting’ is all about. Wish I was coming with.

What I can say is that Mom would always ask me, "Have you read your sister's journal?" I usually had, of course, but Mom wanted to talk about your adventures. I recall her as mostly proud of you, a little worried, and perhaps a bit envious.
