Well .. whenever an insecurity crawls into your mind space, just think of me, thinking of you as courageous and badass.

And and then smile as it crawls on to someone else's mind space (probably mine!). ;0)

I love seeing a tree that makes an automobile look unimportant.

I think you’d find the Bogyoke a very interesting historical figure. He is revered in Myanmar but never got to help it realize it’s potential.

That must be a winter portrait right? The coat looks somewhat Cossack or North Korean. Still, you'd have to be careful with him watching over you.

That gap reminds me of how I knocked out my two front teeth on a bike when I was 8 years old. Yeesh.

Love this architecture but I don't know what it is...Or how old it is...
It kind of reminds me of a Bavarian Chalet...except for the minaret thing.

It would be so much fun to have a huge spool of rope like that.

Oh, insecurities are very present in my head, thank you very much. But we have found that in Myanmar that baffling situations are generally just fine, unless they involve sketchy bridges or food.

That cave tour experience, especially the silent boat ride part, was truly like something I would only expect to see in a dream.

I would say that anyone who can enjoy understanding only 0.005% has been freed from insecurities!

I hate to think of the backpackers missing out on smiles like these! Hopefully they'll look up from their phones once in a while.

I say Adidos, you say Adidas.

Adidos, Adidas. Po-tay-to, po-tay-to.

Let's call the whole thing off.

Um, yeah, that spacing is definitely freakout-worthy!

What you said about the decaying historic buildings in Mawlamyine makes me think of a film I saw that had recordings of birds that are now extinct.

I hope that some of the incredible places you've seen get added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.

But for those that don't, I'm grateful for the images and descriptions that you've preserved.

I don't know what is involved in adding sites to to the UNESCO list, but I'm surprised to see so few sites in Myanmar.
