My question is: Why would anyone want to call up the 70's? Nice story/pics A&B

Love that you had a good laugh with the maid at BHIVE. What a great place!

Frank Roettgen replied to a comment by Bruce Lellman on BRUCE STATS - THAILAND Part 1

Bruce, I would love to know whether the increase you experienced and recorded is referring to the prices in local currency or after "translation" into USD? The Baht is at an all-time high at the moment, which will hopefully not last! Go again in two years and you may be delighted to report on a 10 or even 20% decrease in prices.... At least this is wishful thinking on my side.

My problem is that I'm the slower rider, in addition to being the photographer. I don't hear the sighs because they are way ahead...

I have never seen that much grass growing on the dry-season sand banks. I am afraid this is an indcation of the progressive dehydration of the river, or?

Incredible to see the scale of that tree next to the house. I think your name for these trees is perfect!

In that kind of heat, it would make sense to imagine giant watermelons (even if you don't like them!).

But this real one is spectacular! Better than anything my imagination could come up with.

I would say that earning your title as Bruce Whisperer has something to do with it too.

The dogs of Thailand know: a woman with a 'Bruce Whisperer' title is not one with whom to feck.
