Took me back to November 2018 when we were in Tucson, expecting to continue the semi-nomadic life in Palm Springs, Portland, and then who knows? And then right at about the same time, our Palm Springs lodging fell through and my mom's health took a turn south.
It felt so good to do a quick about face and sign a 15-month lease in Centennial. But perhaps the best part was that Ron was (and has been) right there with me.
Here's to the in-person love and support that you provide for Molly and the babies. And to Bruce for adding his flights to your itinerary.

Good photos too, illustrating well what you will be leaving.
Transportation in Thailand is excellent, with buses, trains, and small regional airports everywhere. Your bus might be from 1967 with chrome decorations but it’ll get you to a bigger bus station in a few hours.
4 years agoClassic cliffhanger. If I didn't know this was real, I'd think you were writing fiction. You're always within a day or so ride of an airport?
4 years agoEveryone is complaining about the unpredictable water level from day to day due to the 11 Chinese dams upstream. The Chinese let out water whenever they feel like it and don't let anyone know downstream. Everyone also tells us that the river is lower than ever for this time of year.
