The streets in that neighborhood are killers. Pushing a double stroller or pulling a wagon with two kids in it is simply awful.

I do hate to disappoint anyone. I had a couple days off and feel pretty rejuvenated.

That would be wonderful! I’d love to see the girls. Afterwards I could push my way back up Hazeltine to get back up to Skyline. If that’s the street I’m thinking of it must be about the steepest street in town.

So glad you didn't keep your word about not posting for a while!

As Mr. Garceau recently reminded me, Edward Abbey once asserted that one word is worth a thousand pictures. If it’s the right word.

Coordinate your Cornell Road trip with me, so you can stop by and see the twins. They’re just a little ways up Miller Road, which is also a good uphill workout that I have no plans to ever do.

OK, that was a seriously entertaining dream.

Maybe the cat was a symbol of Covid and the Ranger was the vaccination?

And doors ... Opportunities!

I'm looking forward to walking through that door that has a BBQ and your smiling, unmasked faces on the other side.

Almost any topic is fair game in a cycling blog, and dreams certainly qualify. But photo illustration is almost a standard. So while it is good that you dreamed your camera into use, next time try to bring back the actual shots!

Sadly, this was probably their only chance to chat for quite some time. The BF is going into the suitcase this weekend after Roddy comes back from the LBS, and will stay there until we get to Minnesota. I think Rodriguez can hold up his end of a conversation well enough though.

A true documentarian.

What a dream!! Appropriate for your transition to a new journey. I always have a bit of fear about the unknown before an upcoming trip. The purring in your dream must mean that everything is going to go well. I love cats.

It was fun seeing you at your coffee place. Our bikes didn't finish telling each other tales about where they had each been so we will have to get them together again sometime soon.

It somehow seems appropriate that despite being in these dire circumstances, your first impulse is to reach for the camera and take some photos.
