3 years agoThe yellow behind the eye looks more like painted, but the carapace doesn't look smooth enough for a painted... more like map.
Definitely not Blandings, snapper, softshell, box, spotted, wood, or musk. That leaves painted, red-ear and map, and without the characteristic red, it is not red-ear.

So Patrick has a gal in Kalamazoo too? I suspect the town has changed a lot over those decades. Right now it has a lot of appeal.
3 years agoThat’s about as I’ve understood it also. It’s hard to think about - is it worth taking on the overhead and complexity if we aren’t planning to renew afterwards and actually resettle? It does make for interesting dinner discussions on a quiet night though.

3 years agoYes, like I was saying we have no reason to complain. It hit 111 in Portland today, which is incomprehensible. I’m so worried about the fire seasons ahead. If we could pipe some rain up your way, we would.
