We’ll have to check in with you the next time we’re up that way. It would be great to have an excuse to see Lummi again.
Also, a CycleBlaze tip: if you ‘reply’ to someone’s comment rather than just add a new comment, they’ll received an email notification of it and are more apt to be aware of it.
I'm so glad you are posting about your trip! It's super interesting.
Elizabeth from Lummi
I think they were cursing you for calling them chickens😂😂
1 year agoLooks like it’s high! Was it fun?
1 year agoYes Scott. We are very fortunate. By the way, I really enjoyed your journal of your stay in Bellingham. I should’ve used your routes in training- maybe I would have avoided the dog bite. And we could commiserate about dog bites but at least I didn’t have to go to a wound clinic!
1 year agoThanks Steve! I should have known you would be the person to ask!
1 year agoYou live on Lummi Island! Lucky you. What a lovely place to call home.
1 year agoNot chickens, Guinea Hens. They are very loud and more vocal than chickens. We used to keep a few with our chicken flock as they are more alert and sound off if there are predators nearby.
1 year agoBill Shaneyfelt! I’ve always loved your posts on other’s journals. Thank you!
1 year agoI think I’m recovered and slowly catching up on the training.
1 year agoThanks for your comment Julie! Very few cyclists going my direction. Over the whole C&O I only saw about six going west. Wish you were with me!
1 year agoSo many adventures on your last day on the C&O! Great memories.
You seem to have the trail to yourself.
You are becoming quite an experienced detour-er! That looks like a hike-a-bike section. 😉
1 year agoA lovely day.
Antietam is a very moving experience. So sad.
You can’t find your wallet! It’s contagious. The site must be infected.
