1 year agoGlorious!! What contrast to the flats of the Midwest….
1 year agoIt was the logo on the silos. Not a very good photo….
1 year agoThose would be horseflies... which are in the same family, and yes they bite worse.

Thanks Scott! I feel totally recovered.
1 year agoDefinitely a relic of the past. Remember how hot they would get in summer?
1 year agoCool photos! Thanks Bill.
They’re not as bad as those big black biting flies.
Haven't seen one like that for years.
Kids were a lot tougher in the past!
Deer flies! OUCH! They hurt...

Not the best accommodations, but it’s great seeing you back to health again.
1 year agoI’m not sure Nanners. Maybe 1500 miles if I go to the Oregon coast. But we’re thinking of going north from Missoula then west to Lummi.
1 year agoQuite possibly.
1 year agoHenry is, as the dog trainer says, a thinking dog. He’s not a dog whose sole purpose in life is to please his humans. But he’s generally good at restaurants if a dog doesn’t antagonize him. Hard to travel with a dog in the heat of summer! At least we were able to park in the shade right in front of the restaurant.
1 year agoMacha was just getting even for Otto latching on to Henry’s cheek/jaw/neck. Naughty canines! Can’t wait for Henry to be reunited with Macha. Hope Otto and Macha work it out.
