Jeryang 'Jery' Juhn commented on a photo in Another spectacular day of riding, plus we met two men riding Azub trikes.

The guy of Lt. side on the photo is me (Jery, not Jer)

Yes, we could see that he is a strong rider as well as generous by sharing their mandarins with us.

Thank you Jery . We will correct that in our journal. We enjoyed watching people playing it. We are not Ham Radio operators but we have a close friend in Germany who loves it. May we give him your ham radio information? He also does Morse code. This morning we arrived in Fukuoka Hapan by ferry. We enjoyed your country and rxperiencing your culture and seeing beautiful places. We wish you well. Barry and Mary Ellen Bartlett

Wellcome to your home base with no problem.
You might get the canceled ticket of departure a few days later.
You can enjoy Busan's atmosphere of more days.
You are very powerful and energetic person , so proud to be respected even age of 70.
By the way, are you amateur HAM radio? I am HAM radio, call sign HL5BHH.
Thanks for visiting S Korea and understanding Korean culture and enjoying Korean food.
In someday, hope to come back to my country and have a wonderful riding together.

All the Wishes

You mentioned here people are playing 'Ground ball'.
We call it 'Park golf', it is similar to 18 hole golf , however, no drive shot is permitted and only putting to the hole is allowed.

Grateful you have lost your glasses and not your life, Mary Ellen! That must have been a most mortifying and frightening experience ! Perhaps your glasses will show up when you least expect it.. Your journals are a delight to read. Many thanks!

Oh yes. The dipping sauce for our meat was rich in garlic.

Thanks Bill. I often think of you when writing the journal. You are like my guardian angel gently keeping me on course. I will add your info to the photo. Regards Mary Ellen

Korean buffets are great! The 3 weeks I spent doing inspections in Korea during Dec. 1993 (I think) the guy who hauled me around took me to lunch and dinner at them... Only drawback was I smelled like garlic for days after returning home, much to the chagrin of my wife!

Finally one I know! If is snow-on-the-mountain. My mom had some when I was a kid in Indiana back in the 1950s...
