Thanks Karen. We both knew that we could ride but it would be foolhardy. And having glasses is wonderful.

Noticing no headlights are on the vehicles (in this photo)in the rain. Guess it is not a law/rule there. Too bad, as we all know how much easier it is to see ( and be seen) if your headlights are functioning.

It is a viper. Looks like probably a short-tailed mamushi.
