Thanks Rich. We have enjoyed hearing from you and your input about our experiences. Take care.
2 weeks agoGreat to hear from you Jery. It is lovely yet bittersweet to come home at the end of a trip. We will be thinking of you as you ride the east coast of S Korea. Would enjoy knowing your impressions of the riding and experience.

Congrats!
You are back to home safely with good health.
Relax for a few days and have a happy talk with your friends and share your wonderful experiences.
My friend and I will have riding to east coast of S. Korea early March that you could not make it
before.
Jery from Korea
What an amazing adventure! I've really enjoyed following along. Hope you enjoy a little peace and quiet and home time now...
2 weeks agoThis entry made me feel tired, with the thought of dragging gear onto various conveyances, and sitting for so long. I am reading this the night before setting off for Spain, so it's tiredness in anticipation.
Take care of our islands until we get back!
I think they make the sand from powdered sugar and cocoa powder.

3 weeks agoAh, after cycling 2000 km you are affecting walking sticks. Dodie too. She did feel she needed it for walking, but she has been doing forest trails without and feels her balance is improving for that.

3 weeks agoWe have been to Okinawa twice and both times we have visited this incredible place. Neither of us practice karate, but we have good friends who are passionate about it which is why we originally visited the Karate Centre. Naha, being the birthplace of karate, makes it even more interesting in understanding the impact and the history of karate in Japan.

Yes, I felt that weariness just writing it. As we get older, we have not lost our passion or love for travel…we just don’t love the flying and its effects. We wistfully walk past Premium Economy and Business class….imagine being able to sleep on the flight, but the cost would eat into our travelling time, so we muddle along.
2 weeks agoSpain and Portugal are on our list…enjoy. Looking forward to reading about it.
