I believe you are correct, but too little remains intact to determine just what species, let alone genus of family Agamidae. Nice tail though.

I miss that coffee. In that glass. The food looks great too.
1 month agoSome sort of mogul (BeerLao? Meth? Teak?) came back to the hometown and built a glamorous palace to lord over the locals with. That's my guess, anyway. We've definitely seen some outlandish digs in very out-of-the-way places.

Well done, Bill. Cheers Ian
1 month agoNice! Oriental whip snake... it is very distinctive in body shape but coloration is really variable. Bright green seems most common but gray and brown somewhat less.

I’m greatly relieved to see that your bikes have been safely recovered from wherever they were incarcerated.
2 months agoAbsolutely Beautiful. Great Photo!
2 months agoWe stopped to look at one of these as we toured around Inle Lake, Myanmar on bikes (years ago, before the coup). Our guide claimed that they sometimes jump off of the web, which seemed unlikely but put me back on my bike immediately. I do love them, though, they're beautiful and formidable.
