Well Done Andy, what a great adventure, glad you didn't have any major mishaps. Shame not being able to find the lifeboats your Dad built, but at least you got to see the place. And well done for leaving your bike for someone else to enjoy.
11 months agoWell done, Andy, another adventure under your Belt, I'm glad the Tigers didn't get you and you could have probably found a shaver. Look forward to seeing you when you get back to get the full story, you know the one about the vice and Self indulgenceš¤£š¤£
1 year agoThanks Andy. Very interesting and informative.
1 year agoSounds like you have had a wonderful trip. Interesting comments on tourist attitude to driving/riding. I bet Europeans have more accidents than the locals.
Safe trip home Andy.
Hi there Looks like you're having a great time. You must stop going down these dead end roads and having to cycle all the way back. Just thought I tell you I Had sticky toffee pudding with custard.
For my dessert tonight. Just thought you might like to know that. Keep up your excellent blog And keep the pictures coming .be safe
Hi Paul and Steve, I am carrying ear plugs with me as last reserve! Even in UK I fit them in cinemas.
I am using google maps as a last resort but I do not mind getting a little lost and asking. Some have replied from Hindi to English using google translator.
We are currently in Yucatan, Mexico, where the noise tolerance level is off the charts. I seriously do not know how anybody here is not deaf by the age of 30, but when in Rome.....wear ear plugs.
1 year agoHope you have ear plugs for the noise Andy!? India's tolerance for noise is remarkable.
Wondering how you are coping with all the Hindi signs and thinking there must surely be an app that would scan and translate? Or does google maps suffice? All the best. Going to be -2 C here tomorrow.
I have missed out on a lot: the daily clothes washing: the blaring TV until 1am last night: the lizard in the toiletā¦..
1 year agoLooks and sounds like you re having a great Adventure. I'm enjoying reading about it. It's got to be said a little bit jealous.

Your mileage is very consistent Andy. I guess you are more or less able to follow your plan. The scenery and sights look wonderful. Iām quite envious.
Good luck for the rest of your journey.
So glad to hear this. Besides being unpleasant and hard to cope with, overheating can be seriously bad for your health.
1 year agoHi Steve, yes I seem to be coping better, I put a note in the thread I started about overheating in the Forum
