Thanks for telling me that, Ron. What a useful acronym. I’ll try to find a few times to use it soon so that it cements in my memory.

Just a bit. Not complaining, mind you. Just making a note of it so others will know what to expect.

Río Aguas .. that is a curious name.

I thought it might be because it has natural hot springs (aguas termales) but can't find anything about that.

Things that make you say "Hmmm."

On the Appalachian Trail they call them PUDs- pointless ups and downs. (I might have made a similar comment on another post, but who knows what I do?)

I hope Bill sees this.

I don't know much about snakes, but I would guess from the shape of its head that it's not poisonous.

Regardless, I wouldn't want to be bitten by a snake this big!

Glad the stick you used was just long enough. Hopefully the snake will get over his grumpiness and realize that you did him a favor.

He making a good choice on the destination. Also, I've rented BMWs a couple of times. Once for 11 days in Alaska, and once to drive from Long Beach California to Portland. They are truly amazing, efficient, beautiful machines. The Germans know how to build stuff.

Ok, so reviewing the pics here, that was an awesome hike. But my suggestion to.m backtrack stands. It's easy to make suggestions from the comfort of my Ikea Poang chair in the suburban metastasis of Denver.

Good choice! Looks like a nice, cozy doorway.

I would have done the film studio tours. But that's me.
Here's what you can do: backtrack and do the studio tours and post some pictures. You're retired. What else do you have to do?
