"Our GPS route took a loop to bring us up to the secondary road that borders on the bus terminal, but one floor above the arrival deck." I think your GPS must have been talking to mine because that's the sort of thing it would do. Someday I'll learn to *always* check the route it's calculated before I start riding.
5 years agoThanks so much, Angela, and thanks for following along with us! Hopefully we’ll get to see some actual bicycle activity happening soon too.

5 years agoThanks! I have been getting rest, and am steadily getting my health back at a fair clip. I hope to be back on the bike tomorrow, which is as good as I could hope for.
5 years agoThanks for your concern, Patrick. I’m thinking I’m getting off lucky this time - for the second day in a row I’ve felt progressively better. I expect to be back on the bike again tomorrow. Unfortunately, I expect to still be slower than Rachael.

5 years agoI knew it was Foster City, because their name is spelled out. I should have included it in the photo. Sobering thought about their future - they should start building dikes.
5 years agoIt looks like it to me too. It’s the most striking descent I can recall since landing in SLC at sundown years ago.
5 years agoTypical of road repair in many less developed areas. We found rubble and palm fronds to be favoured in Belize.
5 years agoThanks, and I am! I’m not normal today, but much better. The best thing is the relief that this looks like it’s going to pass quickly. I’ve had ones that turn into a URI that last for a month.

That's funny. I sat in this same park waiting for Sue to come back from looking for a hotel just two months ago! Sounds like some obstacles slowing you down a bit. But, knowing Team Anderson, you'll be off to the races soon. Enjoying following along.
