4 years agoYes. We had that species growing in out garden in Mojave, CA as a kid back in the 50s and 60s, just like many neighbors.
Lots of different species in the ice plant family.

4 years agoIn China they cloche everything and the sun breaks the plastic down really quickly and it basically crumbles and becomes part of the soil. No way to pick it out. I took a good look at the soil and I'd say where I was looking it was composed of about 40% plastic. That's why I will never eat anything grown in China.
