Hi Scott - you are probably right! We have considered Portugal/Spain but keep finding unfinished business in the Alps the past few years. My legs are close in age to yours and hopefully there are a few more hills in them. We have some time to contemplate our next ride over there - likely next fall. Ride on!

Rachael was surprised by this too. She was sure I’d know this song and group. I think it’s a time of life thing. I didn’t really follow popular music at all for a decade or so.

You're not that old! There's also a place aspect. Sometimes songs are big hits in one area and unheard-of in others.

Well, I just listened to it and don’t recognize it at all. Now I really feel old.

There was never a question in our minds. It was bad enough just biking a few blocks to the hotel. We were watching the evening news later over dinner, and it was all about the weather, with scenes of flooded streets and snow in the mountains.

Oh, of course. Thanks.

Not quite what I wanted either. I couldn’t quite get the exposure right - pick up the sky and lose the rock, or vice versa. Trim out the sky, and the proportions seem odd. So I just went with optimizing on the rock.

Whew! That was quite a storm and I'm so glad you weren't out riding in that super soaker.

It was quite enough to make the mad dash across the street-turned-river .. and so cool that you have it on video!

What an amazing photo, Scott! So, when you make a print of this for your non-existent living room, I suggest you crop the blasted out top off. Then it's perfect.

Isn't tequila from agave plants? Mescal too?

Actually almost everything did dry out, except our walkers. The sun is back though, and a few hours on top of the rear rack should do the trick.

Thanks, Keith. Good to hear from you! And yes, it has been fantastic. The two of you should really give this port of the continent a try one of these years.

Hey Scott.

Lookin' good, my man! Not too shabby for a seventy-something!

The video really showed the storm! I hope everything dried overnight!
