I am glad to see I’m not the only one that loves kitchens!
5 years agoYup, both picturesque.
5 years agoActually, faux newspaper. More like printed wax paper like stuff.
5 years agoWe were wondering if you had sailed to any of these Islands. Or biked them. Only thing, they sure are hilly.
5 years agoWrecked boats - now that’s one of MY favorites. Even better than cows.
5 years agoWrapped in newspaper, a very good sign :)
5 years agoWe have stayed in the marina at Poet's Cove several times when sailing and also in Otter Bay a few times. Once we sailed into Port Browning and even had our bikes with us at least once or twice. As a result we have biked the Penders, at least twice. It's weird, I didn't realize you hadn't been to the Penders before. I have also biked Galiano from one end to the other, but in all our trips to Saltspring we have always been either sailing or driving with no bikes.

Nice photo!
Strangely, despite living just across the way for the last 35 years, we have never visited this area until now. We are really loving it.
5 years agoSounds plausible.
5 years agoCan we vote twice here? Your southern neighbors have a bad case of Canada envy.
5 years agoI know you’re just trying to make us feel guilty here in sunny southern Portugal. It’s not working though.
5 years agoWe had one grape variety with red leaves in fall though not guite that pinky red
5 years agoIt’s comforting to see that Pender hasn’t changed much in the 25 years since we biked there. Such a peaceful place.

I’ll be interested to hear how the gloves work. I have yet to find any truly waterproof gloves that keep my fingers warm!
