I don't believe so but hanging there looks to be some fake Euro Cakes - knock-offs. Everybody wants to imitate Euro Cakes.

When I took the photo of the bug I had no idea he would be such a star. Thanks to Scott for identifying it.

I used to think of 'delicious' as just another word but because of you I now know its meaning is variable.

You summed it up perfectly. The day spanned the gamut of emotions.

I was too tired to swear at this point. I also was very concerned about the time. Riding/pushing on those curvy steep roads in darkness on Hmong New Year would have been extremely dangerous. We made it just in time.

That was a pretty eventful day. Murderous hills, great news from Bangkok, exceptional descriptions of the Hmong, funding the next generation of Thai riflemen, beautiful scenery, great food and a cozy room. Wow!

That would have been a great place to camp.

What a fantastic story. Those boys unwittingly initiated kindness!

I love this! You were two farangs in an empty shop, and suddenly you're in the midst of the Hmong new year celebration! Serendipity happens when you're open to it.

It's not every bicycle journal that can prompt spirited and educated discussions on stink bugs. Some wallow in the depths and despair of delicious canned chicken.

It would be another great place for a photo with the green Euro Cake and one of those cool stink bugs!

Meniscus!

I first learned that word in Mr. Hannigan's chemistry class.

I really appreciate seeing it used in this lovely Fancy Coffee setting.

I hope that girl decided to hang on to the rail!

The spacing of the steps looks a little disproportionate with the kids' leg length.

Are those Euro Cakes on the counter?
