Oh!! Yes, you are right. I guess I didn't catch that. Good eyes, John and thanks, Scott! Yes, it definitely looks like Serpico. These sorts of things are not unexpected in Thailand. Just like "Marlboro" on the side of a bus!

No, I think it’s the face of the character to the left of the Marlboro label. Looks like Pachino to me.

Do you have your panniers on backwards? Aren’t the reflectors supposed to face the rear?

OK, so your comment must relate to the "Marlboro"written on the bus. I can't remember the film and don't ask me why this is written on the bus either.

Yes. It's been a breeze with transportation and the condition of roads here in Thailand.

Remember your truck ride in Myanmar over that terrible road?!

The coffee even looks bad!

Serpico?

You know what, I never thought about the number this time. And it's not cropped at all! I guess I had a 50/50 chance of getting an odd number.

There are loads of these swallows in Thailand. I think they must have put a serious dent in the mosquito population because we have had nearly no mosquitoes.

The orange is my shirt and the yellows are my panniers.

I really like this one! Mostly because I've had days with a similarly-appearing feeling tone.

I'm guessing that the yellow is your shirt (?)

What's the orange?

It must have taken some work with the cropper to end up with an odd number of birds. Very nice!

I think these must be barn swallows, the same species we have everywhere. I was surprised that they have a nearly worldwide distribution, including sightings in Chiang Rai. Next spring you can look out the window for them and imagine you’re back in Thailand!

It's not every day a person can use the term, meniscus. I was thrilled to be able to.

I know! I should always have both of those items with me for photo shoots.

It's funny you say that because we sat and drank our coffee watching person after person step on that top step and wonder if there was something very wrong with it. Yes, it was slightly slanted downward and loose!

You are right, consistent height spacing of stairs over here is non-existent. I'm constantly saying, "These are not to code."
