2 years agoThis is probably the most honorable place these bikes have ever been allowed. This was a pretty nice hotel. And the bikes were not very clean either. There was even a doorman just off to the left who watched the bikes 24 hours a day. No need to lock them. If bikes could smile!
2 years agoWhen traveling, especially by bicycle, there are always a myriad of factors to consider before coming up with a plan. I kind of like the juggling - I kind of hate the juggling. In the end I always end up thinking that it doesn't really matter what we do because I'm happy no matter where I am. I always find interesting things to photograph, learn from, etc. Every single place, every culture is fascinating and over here the people are always wonderful, no matter where.

2 years agoCongratulations on making this decision, and in pulling off such an abrupt change of plans. It can be difficult to let go of a vision, but it sounds really smart to me.
