Came across your journal from a link on Crazy Guy on a Bike (Scott from Portland, Oregon). I love Australia & love bicycle touring & am having a great time following your journey. I hope to do a much more modest tour in your amazing country before too long. Wow. Sorry to hear of your bug. It seems quite a few if us have picked up something. I got sick myself in Adelaide and hung out in a hotel room for 2 days. I rode after that but the bug has lingered for a couple of weeks. Good of you to take an extra day. Best wishes for a quick recovery.
