Ya know, you may be on to something there … we’re lucky we escaped.

That building looks like a leviathan about to eat your bike from the side of its mouth.

I remember being instructed to do that in a 7th or 8th grade art class. It's hard to concentrate that hard. Even harder is to resist looking at what you've drawn. It's almost like you HAVE to look down to re-orient yourself.

My story aside, I've got to say that I'm really enjoying your sketches--blind contour or not. More please!

Seems like a perfect fine way to spend two days in Saint-Louis/Basel. On to the grapes!

I love the pharmacists in France. Seems like they get a lot more training and can prescribe a lot more things than those in the US.

They’re good looking birds. They were lifers for me. I saw a lot around France as it turned out. Same with the storks, but that story is coming.

Cool! I haven’t seen one yet this year. Also a gannet. Hopefully we won’t need to wait and hope there’s still one hanging out in HMB this winter.

Thanks. Yes, I suppose it did take some courage, looking back. I know you’ve dealt with this too so you know what it’s like.

I so admire your courage, e-bike and trains is a challenge, especially if you are traveling alone.

Dealing with medical issues overseas is really challenging especially if it’s not a language you speak. I’ve had several issues pop up and have had to rely on pharmacists who are actually very knowledgeable.

Very inventive! I’m glad you could get it checked.
