You had a remarkable, windy experience - and blue skies, something we've yet to experience in the Netherlands! We watched the cycle path whizz by from the bus. It looked a little neglected, I thought. The bus stops in the middle of the dam though no one got on there. I wondered if that was for construction workers? Thanks for sending your link

I was excited to see that you were approaching the Afsluitdijk, and happy and sorry that you weren't riding it. It is a beast, even in good weather, but I loved riding it. Tricia, we have booked mainly multi night stays for the rest of Netherlands. Otherwise will whizz through too quickly! Will be just outside Haarlem later in the week.
