Scott Anderson commented on Final day (29): Rainham to Twickenham

Great job, Media Manager! I thoroughly enjoyed the show and gained a few ideas for the future.

I don’t think I ever want to ride in England again

I know exactly how narrow those roads are!! I’m glad there were some green ways to compensate and calm the nerves.🤣

It was scarily like the broken hand incident, Carolyn, though with a better outcome!

So glad you came away from the ditch seemingly unscathed! Ironic you get to the UK and have the best weather day of the tour. Hope the weather continues for the remainder

Oh dear Robyn! Glad you didn’t fall on your hand! Those brambles are painful and not keen to let you go once embedded! Glad you’re okay!

Thanks, Michael. It will only be a short leg though.

Oh dear- the gooseberry patch! Those thorns are painful. We tend to be conflicted in a similar fashion about moving side for cars. Sometimes doesn’t pay to be too empathetic. Enjoying your trip and looking forward to this UK section- that country always seems to offer an additional frisson of the unexpected. Bonne route, Michael Hutching

I thought I was the only one that fell off bikes. Glad no major damage done. The small amount of cycling we have done in the UK I have found the cycling infrastructure terrible ghastly tracks given fancy names

You’ll just have to go back someday and see the painting. It’s lovely. There’s also a great cow painting, too, but I’ve forgotten the artist. Must look it up. I’ve never actually read the book. Maybe I should do that as well!

Yes, talk Bruce into another boat/bike tour. We will join you! Or a supported tour would do nicely, too!

Well now…..that’s different! Planning for the same look in Waikawa? 🤔

From Bruce's extensive research (that will be the headphones and YouTube) Utrecht is supposed to be right up there with Amsterdam and Copenhagen. I'm hoping it will be on a smaller scale!
