This is a remarkable entry. Bruce has dozens of daily expense journals similar to this and they really help him remember certain times in his life, where he went, what he did.
It's so cool that you've been given a chance to let some of those long-forgotten memories roll back in again.

2 years agoWe were very lucky, obviously. It rained the day we left, but couldn’t have been better while we were there. Timing is everything. Well, timing and attitude.

2 years agoYou’re right. Everything about great works like this from the past are astonishing. You wonder if they envisioned that they would survive thousands of years and be admired and revered by people far in the future.
2 years agoReading the history of the many modifications to the cathedral is dizzying. The cathedral originally had two towers, but the northern one (the left side in this photo) was removed during one of them.
