This is a remarkable entry. Bruce has dozens of daily expense journals similar to this and they really help him remember certain times in his life, where he went, what he did.

It's so cool that you've been given a chance to let some of those long-forgotten memories roll back in again.

We were very lucky, obviously. It rained the day we left, but couldn’t have been better while we were there. Timing is everything. Well, timing and attitude.

That too, although I was really thinking of it as a bad pun.

Inventory: hard surface, no actual dirt or loose gravel. Yup, paved. Or at least pave

I want a redo of my days in Paris in 2019. No Maillots Jaunes leading to street closures everywhere and no 35° temps.

It would make me glad for my 650b wheels and 38 mm tires! And tubeless—I can reduce the pressure if needed.

You’re right. I think this is one we’ll remember. i wasn’t really expecting much from it, but you never which ones will be really interesting.

You’re right. Everything about great works like this from the past are astonishing. You wonder if they envisioned that they would survive thousands of years and be admired and revered by people far in the future.

Reading the history of the many modifications to the cathedral is dizzying. The cathedral originally had two towers, but the northern one (the left side in this photo) was removed during one of them.
