You and Jacquie are naming our favorites. Both of these tours are at the top of our list too, and Exhibits A and B of tours I’d repeat in a heartbeat if I could erase five or ten years off of our legs.

Hi Jacquie. We are also inspired by The Anderson's. We did their Pyrenees tour in 2018. My favorite Anderson's tour is their French Alps tour which we also did in 2017. Always on their coat tails.

As a matter of fact!

I highly recommend following the Andersons’ Pyrenees route. I did it in 2016 (with variations including taking the train from Barcelona to Blanes and riding from there to Girona via Sant Feliu) and it remains my favourite tour to date.

This is such an evocative picture, suggesting the rider has exited stage left for a nature break.

Thanks. It was a fabulous day and I loved building up all those Rocky round up miles! After my nose surgery and my recovery I finally feel like Rocky’s back!

I suppose so. I wonder if this is the original stone, and how old it is. At least the center of the span must have been a ‘recent’ reconstruction. It was torn or blown out in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the French army.

Birthday cake? I've always been a fan of dessert first... Senses are on alert when hungry, so it tastes better. Besides you can finish with salad to clean the teeth. (I've never had a problem with spoiling my appetite)

Wow those ruts are impressive. Presumably they're the result of hundreds of years of iron-bound wagon wheels traversing the bridge? By now, you'd have to be pretty accurate in your trajectory to stay within them but I suppose it's also a self-reinforcing thing: the ruts turn into "guide tracks" that basically steer the wheels where they need to go?

Happy Birthday, Rocky. And good job on making Scott keep track of another daily statistic--Rocky Round-Up Miles.
