This cabbage seems to be over the hill. I mean, it seems bygone cabbage, passed on, deceased. This is late cabbage. If it wasn't above ground it would be pushing up the daisies. This cabbage has ceased to be, expired, no more. It is ex-cabbage, gone to meet its maker. And I could say similar things about the kale.

Are the chocolate eggs in France any better than the waxy ones we get in the States?

I was actually wondering where the biker was yesterday and that it would give the shot an added dimension. But, the trees and road are such a powerful image that the one without a biker also stands on its own just fine.

Wow! Always great to hear stories about non-humans being treated well.

I love how they revere and respect these animals. When they retire from the ring they’re put out to pasture for the remains of their days. It makes me think o Ferdinand. And when they die they’re allegedly buried standing upright, facing the sea.

I love the shadow of its bill!!

.. which, apparently, I could also refer to as its beak. But that doesn't sound right!

I didn't know of this bloodless bullfighting. I kind of hope youse go to one of these so you can tell us about it.

I'm still tormented by images from a very bloody bullfight I saw in Sevilla.
