Yes and no. I suspect we have revisited and laughed over this day more than any other day on the bike together. I don’t really need the photos to relive this one - I can still picture the tire on the wall of the gas station, the rain slanting at a 45 degree angle from the wind, and our soaked belongings draping the cabin. I just woke up Rachael asking what counting crackers brought to mind and she burst out laughing.
1 year agoThat sounds like a perfectly ghastly day, with the Hydra of potential tire problems, imminent starvation, hypothermia, and horrid weather all contributing to your discomfort.
