Happy Birthday Dad!
5 years agoSo beautifully clean. Seems like everyone in the foreign countries takes pride in how clean their storefronts and streets are. Just amazing.
5 years agoSigh... Invasives, yup, same old story. Cute/pretty, etc. escapes or intentionally introduced without natural population controls found in native environments. People sure mess things up
5 years agoYup. Monk parakeets are introduced from South America, apparently through released or escaped pets. They’re well established in Spain now, and widely regarded as a nuisance or worse.
5 years agoI didn't know there were parrots in Spain! Seems they might be monk parrots.

Learning stuff all the time!

5 years agoFor me, it's left-right. I can usually visualize a compass, but sometimes get east-west mixed up. I can only imagine what I will do with north-south should I ever make it south of the Equator.
5 years agoI would have offered to do the video recording of your ascent(s), if I were Rachael.
5 years agoOf course. I’ve always had the wrong mental map of the Pyrenees for some reason, and think of it as a north/south range. It goes back to childhood and I’ve never been able to reprogram myself.
5 years agoYou go, girl!!
5 years agoYes! Love the olive harvest video. I finally understand why olive trees never need chiropractic treatments.
