Another lizard! Nice it sat still long enough to snap a shot. Great picture!
I have seen European wall lizards in Cincinnati, OH, only about an hour's drive (a day's bike ride) south of us in Dayton. Here is a link to an article on them.

I really enjoyed watching this trio, who I believe were siblings. They interacted so well together and seemed so carefree. The girl in particular was charming, as she alternately found skipping candidates for her brothers and tossed small pebbles to the seagulls to tempt them to snap them up.

6 years agoI've been following you guys and others for years, this is the best so far i've enjoyed.. So glad Jeff Arnim started this for the riders.. I met him 2-3 years ago..
Ms. Rachel, Not sure why I cannot pull up your videos, stops after about 30 seconds.. What I've seen is superb!!
You take such nice photos, Scott. It takes a skilled eye to capture simple gestures, in humans and animals, that we can all relate to. You make it look easy but I know it is not.

6 years agoMakes me wonder what size my feet would be if they were similarly proportioned to my body? And would that allow me to walk over mud flats?
6 years agoPerhaps an Abies nordmanniana (Nordmann fir) but most likely an Abies alba, Silver fir.
6 years agoActually I would say Marca Depositata just means trademark. That would be similar to the French marque deposee. Beautiful headset!
