Thanks for taking us along, Ron. I enjoyed it from top to half-way to the bottom. Hopefully you’ll take us the rest of the way down next summer.

We can disagree on Velveeta as long as we agree on Shemp.

NOW you're back on track. To me, Shemp = Velveeta.

Velveeta? It just doesn't fit in with the other examples of joy.

It was very hard to locate one, and in the end I found it on Facebook marketplace in Colorado. Lucky. The previous owner said it was just not the right fit for her and only had abut 50 miles on it. Still has the price tag! I just got it home and am looking forward to seeing how it rides.

The Ogre is a most excellent bike. My brother has one and he loves it. I searched high and low for one of them, to no avail, during the days of supply shortages--even here in the state of Surly's headquarters. I "settled" for a new version of the Trucker with beefier tires and better gravel-riding ergonomics. I really like it, but, in the end, it's not an Ogre.

Yes, the route has taken a hold of me. And as well as the trusty LHT performed, I got a Surly Ogre for next year. The larger wheels and ability to add a suspension seatpost will smooth out the ride a bit.

I suggest you just meet up during his next Imaginary World Tour.

I wish I could top "haiku-riffic", but that's impossible!

Anyone who comes up with 'Haiku-riffic' is someone I want to meet someday. Next time I'm in Minnesota.

I was going to just silently agree with your comment. Then I realized something else about it. It was Haiku-riffic.

He calls this dinner!

And he says it's delicious!

I don't know. I just don't know.
