5 years agoTechnically it translates as "God's Greetings" in a similar way as Good Day is "God's Day"

5 years agoIt looks like you are all doing well and continuing to enjoy your journey. The weather appears to be much warmer. Unbelievable how high the flood waters were when Carol and Ron were there before.
Glad you are all having fun. Once again, your photos tell a wonderful story. BTW, love the arch built from beer cases.
Now these are cool. Perhaps Murphy might like to ride along with you in one of these.

5 years agoLooks like this was a lovely day. I bet you are not sad to have left the rain and mud behind. Beautiful rock faces along the cruise route. Oh, Gail, this is Germany - land of two schnitzels at dinner, fried potatoes with everything (bratkartoffeln) and litre mugs of beer. We referred to our time working in Germany as “the 15 pound posting”, referring to the average amount of weight gained in a two to three year tour of duty.
