Sounds like everything is going to plan! In Rosenheim you'll be very close to where we are, about 70km. I wish we had time to make it to Rosenheim for a meal together, but our days are full before I leave on Monday. I hope we get the chance to meet some day. Europe is small (relatively speaking) so it is bound to happen.
I'm not sure what day you are starting but the weather is looking good starting September 1. Gute Reise!

One member of Team Two Far also suffers from hill-climbing anxiety. I can lose sleep over it the night before. Excellent solution! We'll look forward to following you over the Alps. Safe travels.

Great idea about having you bags sent ahead! I look forward to the start of your trip!

The roads up the passes tend to be narrow and winding. It is difficult enough on an unloaded bike, but doable. We would also be leery of riding fully packed. Good call to send the gear ahead.

I know what you mean by pre-trip anxiety. Glad you found that good solution for the climb.

That is a really great ride and the pass not nearly as scary as it sounds. When we did it I was very nervous about it but pleasantly surprised and there was little traffic. After Naunders the ride to Trento is glorious and downhill on dedicated tracks the whole way
Have fun

Sounds like a fun challenge. We did that route as part of a previous tour, although we did take a bike shuttle over the Reschen pass. The road the shuttle went on looked busy and narrow but there may be a way for bikes nearby?

That looks like it's going to be a great ride! Of course you can do it, and there are always solutions when things get difficult.
