We are looking forward to some route planning sessions, and then to following you again through some of our favourite parts of the world!

Oh, so close! I’ll bet we’ll be within 500 miles of each other a some point! Our tentative plan is to start in Copenhagen, bike up the Elbe to the Czech Republic, then south through Salzburg, the Alpe Adria and Tuscany to Rome. So, probably not this year. Maybe some winter in Tucson though!

Hi Scott, thanks for the comment. We are just looking at your ride in Tucson and thinking we should try to get over and do that one - at this point we are just happy to be looking for some sun! When we come back in April we will be counting on Steve and Dodie to help us with a route, but basically I think we will be heading down Eurovelo 15 and then along eurovelo 6 and then 3 to Paris. Off course, there will likely be some detours, but that's the general idea. We would LOVE to meet up with you and Rachel over there! Keep us posted!

Thanks again for posting your rides here and taking us along with you. Looking forward to your fall tour, too. We’ll be over there at about the same time, maybe not that far from you. We’ll be interested to see your route. It would be a hoot to meet up and share a glass, wouldn’t it?

Thanks, Sue, for taking the time to write this great travelogue! I really enjoyed reading it on my lunch break the last few weeks.

It’s actually both - we have to be in B.C. for 6 months in a calendar year for our health insurance, but as a Canadian, Jim is only allowed 6 months in the US in “a year” but they don’t specify when they might start counting that 6 months, so it’s tricky for us since we come down at various times of the year - confused yet? We sure are!!!!

Is *a* U.S. limit

I thought that the six months was how long you could be out of Canada before you have problems with whether you get health care or something. The six months is one U.S. limit?

Agreed. Nasty stuff once it is established. Just look at all those seeds waiting to be dispersed.

Hahaha! Nope! Haven't taken up that bad habit (yet)!

So is that a chaw of tobacco in your mouth?

I bet! Those are pretty intense coloured berries!

Nice you have a good ID app!

Poke berries make a really nice stain! We have them here, in Dayton, OH, and I need to diligently remove them from the garden all summer lest they become large and established, crowding out other plants.

It was very pretty riding through the leaves like that

Ha! I just liked the pic. Never even noticed the chain placement - good eye!
