They’ve been banned most places in BC for decades now; just a few are still around under some sort of grandfather clauses. I’ve never heard the term “wigwam burner” before. The local name is “beehive burner”.

6 years agoHi Scott - I've been enjoying your ride so far, sorry it's been so hot for you guys though. I fully empathize with riding in temps in the 90s. The scenery has been very pleasant - it seems like MT with slightly bigger mountains and less terrifying traffic. Hope the next segment is a blast.
6 years agoI was amazed too, on this day as well as several of the previous ones. I’d really like to come back in the fall some year and see more of it.

6 years agoIt’s a nice car for hauling bikes in, alright. Heck, it’s a nice car, period. I think it must have pretty good genes. I’m starting to feel sentimental about it, and wondered no if we should hang on to it after all.
