Today’s ride: 2 miles. Fantastic.

I see where you're coming from.
I'm not done. There'll be more pylons and cones... maybe a few ice cream ones.

Like you, my cycling is usually done at the worst time for photography. This snap was taken at gone 4:00, but the sun is already quite low by then here.
Yes... just not sure it's as old as it looks. Something about it says 'reproduction' and I think it's been imported from China, as this fortified style is not what you see on buildings in Taiwan.

It's given me something to focus on while I've so much time on my hands. It'd be nice to do longer rides - go on a trip - but the hot weather is a bit of a killer.
I really appreciate you keeping and maintaining this journal, Graham. It’s interesting reporting on what life is like there at this crazy time. Sort of a Journal of the Plague Year.
3 years agoI just liked the fresh yellow paint! He looks young, but g is much older than 30. We met when I lived in Ontario and he moved to Taiwan a couple of years after me.
3 years agoCheers, Scott. It's the same bird as the second photo... taken from a nearby bridge
