Good news for you, but too bad for the printer. Are you having them printed on thinner stock this time?
2 years agoI've had to have them reprinted, as they forgot to print the page for December!
The good news is I've taken the opportunity to add that photo you made a comment on earlier this week!
I trust tomorrow’s will report on your calendars in the Culture section.
2 years agoThey did stop issuing the ceramic ones here for a while, but it's been OK for a while now. I just have to ask, as the staff automatically reach for the paper ones.
2 years agoThe IPA is better. The A is for Australian and is slightly weaker. They're made in Lithuania, of all places, and the other odd thing is that come in 'pint' cans. It's the best IPA I've found and is sort of akin to the UK brew made by Boddingtons.
Nomad got out again yesterday!
Funnily enough there was a shop in Yingge's tourist area selling this type of stuff. I nearly took a snap, but reckoned the shop-owner would dislike it.
2 years agoMaybe a Bob Ross signed piece - worth millions!
2 years agoI'll keep my eye open for them.

2 years agoOMG.
2 years agoA shame. Your calendar has probably already gone to print.
2 years agoI’m with you - I hate paper cups. It was one more thing to detest about Covid because all the shops quit using ceramic.
2 years agoHi,
APA? That’s a new one to me. How does it stack up to IPA? I’m not much of an IPA fan. Give me a good old fashioned bitter, or a stout and I’m happy. I think that most IPAs taste like hopped up versions of lager, but to each his own. French beer is generally bad, but there are some microbreweries that make a decent brew. I’m particularly fond of Koreff from Morlaix in Brittany, but that’s because it’s brewed like a bitter.
Anyway, give the nomad a little chain oil, he seems to be in a squeaky mood.
Cheers,
Keith
I was focused on the paintwork and didn't really notice the shadows when I took this... they make it.

Well, I paid for thick paper, so the reprints should be on the thicker stuff. They looked and felt nice - shame about that mistake.
