They must be poor quality bricks... and maybe the cement rendering compounded the problem. It's one of a few abandoned homes we passed.

2 years agoAs I look again, I think it’s a lure. There’s likely a predator on the other side of the slot waiting for a finger to poke through. Like an anglerfish.

2 years agoI actually got the one that you can hardly see - in the dark. In thephoto the window is slid open, so you can only see 50 percent.
I've had some metal brackets made today and it's now fixed to our balcony wall. I'll take a snap so you can see it.
It's certainly cheap...
