Oh no, I hope you didn't get hurt badly!

It was Suzanne I actually fell off at one point but thankfully not into the canal. Hence the extra night in Reims

Looks awful, must have taken forever.

We can’t wait to see you both! A well-stocked fridge and laundry service await you. Chilled drinks, a ginger cat 🐈 shaded garden. Love the wetterstroms

No more falling off your bike Tricia! So glad you came away unscathed again. Enjoy your lovely accommodation.

Oh boy, Trish! The fall is not a fun way to start. You sound very stoic about it but it does make things a bit wobbly for a while ( especially the pride). Hope you fully recovered. Rest up and enjoy the food!

I wouldn’t either. It would be the wrong spot to take another fall.

He was a lovely man and very lucky. He was lying in the mud and his cousin saw him move and rescued him. That is a great book

I am looking forward to exploring a bit of Germany (& Belgium). It’s been more than 20 years since we’ve been there and not on bikes. But I suspect we might be as happy as you to get to France again for all the reasons you say 😊
Loved your story about the visit to the PMU

Enjoying your journey.
Just reading Lindsey Fitzharris “ The Facemaker”, about Gillies’ work on WW1 soldiers with facial injuries. Uncle Frank was fortunate to survive and get to his hospital. Such tragic stories.

Oh it is isnt it. Nothing mind blowing to look at today but we loved it. The Dutch and the Belgiums wouldn’t leave their wheely bins in the middle of a cycle track on rubbish day!
Hope you had a good ferry trip. You really have had a good look at theat side of the Neatherlands
