2 years agoThereby entirely justifying the routing duplication. In fact I'm sure that subconsciously that was WHY you chose that route: you're uncontrollably fastidious about pictures.

2 years agoWe’re in the ballpark anyway. We’re just planning on being there one night, but if we’re in town the same night let’s find a restaurant that works for both of us (not McDonalds!).

2 years agoIt’s the red volcanic soil contrasting against the green. It could be somewhere near Sisters, Oregon.

2 years agoThe vegetation isn’t right, but the terrain has some similarities. It’s largely volcanic here.

The source of that diagonal shadow puzzled me when I was looking at this picture on my tablet. On the larger desktop computer screen the source is apparent: an open shutter, nearly invisible but clear when you examine the drain pipe that is partly obscured.
