As always, really enjoying reading your travels. Hope the remaining weeks go smoothly. I'm watching the news closely too. Hoping for a better future for our neighbours to the south!

Riders, writing riders, readers, and all the stories (and photos and videos!) that are passed along to fellow pedalers and the friends, families, and fans of pedalers.

2 years agoGeary’s buildings are all fascinating. This is maybe the sixth or seventh one we’ve seen now, and they’re always exceptional.

2 years agoHey, we stayed at that hotel in November 2011. Glad to hear they're still going. I remember having to park our Bike Fridays in the uncovered atrium. Luckily it didn't rain--in fact it was beautiful weather for mid-November.

Brutal!! Poor us! It wasn’t all that bad really - nothing like you rwomexperienced in Portugal. Those giant reeds really whip around and make it look dramatic though.
