Good point, Ian. I'll try to lift my game.

Appreciate your efforts to diarise in trying circumstances, but a few high level geographical pointers would assist the nerds trying to follow on google maps; eg, you went south, not north from the port then crossed to the north side; and today you crossed back to the south side.

I see the potential for iconic bus shelter jig saws, coasters and calendars.

It’s futile to pedal faster because as you approach the speed of light your mass approaches infinity. Or possibly ‘education is a good thing and there should be more of it’.

A nicely framed composition.

Ian, Heroic and very well done. I picture it all with your blog, thank you. Tough but eye opening.
May you have easier days but full of just as rich new experiences.

Jane and our daughter Emily are in your neck of the woods for the next 8 days. They’ve gone tropical.

They are just up the road … in Sarawak. Well it looks close on the map as the crow flies, but Google estimates they are a 3200km bike ride from where you are. So don’t bother with a side-ride to see them.

Full steam ahead with the island hopping to Singapore!

Graham, I know about that address. Unfortunately, if you're traveling to or from Kupang you won't be in business class. Hang on, you won't even be in economy!

For future ferry travel try this booking system for private ferries.

Recommended by an Indonesian friend as being safer and faster than the government run holocaust boats.

Recommended by a Javanese scientist friend.
She has a PhD in nutrition so she must know what she’s talking about.

Use Traveloka or Tokopedia Apps

She has also sent me a lot more detailed info which I’ll email to you.

Ian well done disembarking on yet another island well in time for End of Financial Year and another donation. It’s even pay day today.

Ian you see fellow passengers.
I see potential avid readers for your blog. It’s a captive audience.

Show them the photo and the link and they’d be delighted to see themselves on your blog.

Any Indonesian with less than 4000 ‘friends’ on Facebook isn’t trying. They are the most avid users of social media on the planet. Super connected society.

Ian, you're not wrong. As I used to say to Cora on the rather civilized Scottish ferries " seven long horn blasts means you're on your own"!!

Must be chaotic organising the pre-sailing evacuation drill!
