Oh I like it Wal !
1 year agoI think we’d get a good sized quorum for your Welcome Home friday ride.
If it’s good weather, and an easy ride.
Otherwise we ride to Hall General store and line up every cyclist we find out there for a photo.
Bill, we agree! I went snake too.
1 year agoStav, yes, time has flown by. I've probably still got some hard meals ahead. One reason for going to tourists spots is that the food is better. My banana pancakes this morning were terrific.
1 year agoTerrific idea, Graham. How will we get everyone? Photoshop!
1 year agoThat parchment is past my ID skills other than to say it was a snake...
1 year agowow, you've made it to 100 days- fabulous!! great to see the food improving
1 year agoWhen you return to the Bush Capital, city of cockatoos, we should organise a group photo of the Friday Peloton to send to Indra.
1 year agoIan, good point. I hadn't noticed it. I think we put it up for debate while I keep an eye out for a closer look. Ian
1 year agoIan it’s the additional daily tailwind & downhill allowances the cycle touring bosses have been fighting hardest.
I’m thinking a general strike by hardworking cycle tourers (and the Friday Peloton) at the nearest beachside warung would sway the negotiations in a favourable direction.
I’m familiar with the roller lever brakes from my 1980s Richards Bicycle Book, but is the tackle on the bow some crude suspension?
1 year agoGraham, the union have been fighting this for ages. They want a dedicated hostel every 10 km in countries where you cannot camp. Ian
1 year agoThanks Daisy. They did look rather new. Ian
1 year agoIan riding almost 130 km on a day when you are still unwell is above and beyond the call of duty. You should ask your boss for some extra sick leave, or contact the cycle tourers’ union.
