Those roads always look so harmless in the photos. I have posted some pictures of us on challenging climbs and people commented on the nice flat countryside for cycling!

Fantastic shot - all are of course, but I do love this.

I think most cycle tourists will have a credit card horror story. Our own favourite one involves French HSBC. They were geared up, in the normal way, to send the replacement for an expiring card to our home in Canada. But we were in France. The only way they would vaguely consider changing this was for us to send a FAX (FAX?) to our branch in Paris. By the way, with HSBC, if you type in the PIN wrong three times - three times ever, over months or years, the card is dead and nothing, nothing can revive it!

Again, this is not a barn shot. The trees are the thing here.

And yet another barn. It must be hard for you to choose the Barn of the Day when there are so many.

From here it looks as though you could skirt it to the right, so, yes it has at least one outskirt.

If that's not a barn I wonder what else it's not.

Yes. Quite cooperative. We like well behaved clouds.

The clouds positioned themselves very nicely for this shot!

It looks like the Bear House is still there, though they have hopes of replacing it with a larger facility giving them more range to roam. Thanks for mentioning this. I’ve never heard of it, and we must have biked right past it.

Looks like an outskirt to me!

Does WSU still house Grizzlies at the Bear Station out on Airport Rd?

A perfect family ride spot. Glad you can enjoy it.

Glad to hear it worked. I couldn’t believe how fast the little girl went up the hill. She was so cute! It was fun riding and seeing people at a safe distance.

It is cool. I’d like to know more about how he did this. I wonder if somehow he bronze-coated actual books.
