Bob Distelberg commented on Let It All Fall Down

I have to say that the first time I went into a supermarket with a buff pulled up over my face, I felt extremely self-conscious, kind of like I was getting ready to rob he place. Fortunately, once I got inside and saw (as best as I could through my foggy glasses) that the majority of the people were masked, I felt a little better.

Now, three or four weeks later, it looks very odd to see even a single person in the store without a mask. How quickly we adjust.

Incidentally, I have one ear that seems to have a similar problem. Must be lack of muscle tone...

Could be! I like this - they conceal so much. A shame I can’t breathe though.

I've started wearing a mask (bandana over my face) to the grocery store. This morning I asked The Feeshko, "Do I look like some kind of bandit?"

"Yes, you do," she responded.
"Good. That was the look I was going for."

Scott, were you going for the Hannibal Lecter look?

Maybe. Just a little. Actually I’ve been avoiding reading up (or listening up, I guess) on the pronunciation so I could use it multiple ways. Could rhyme with less, loss, loose, louse, lots of possibilities. Lois hadn’t occurred to me.

Waitaminute. I looked up the pronunciation and 3 out of 4 said "LOW-ess".

Here's a limerick:
Rocky had a friend named Lois
They rode bikes through Palouse on the Loess
A dirty afair, but colorful where
Loess got in hair of poor Lois.

(OK .. it's a stretch, but maybe just a little entertaining?)

These guys are small enough that you could just stuff one in the pannier, along with The GBO and the travel consultant. They could keep each other company.

Thunderstorms are not so bad from inside a warm, dry house!
I might have camped at that fairgrounds when I did the Old West with my buds a few years ago.

How about a puppy and a bike trailer?

In the middle of nowhere. Donut town.

I did too. I was really mesmerized by the uniform green rolls.

I considered declaring this my pun of the day.

That’s amazing that after 3 times of typing the pin wrong the card is dead! I definitely won’t be getting that card.

The loess words, the better!

It's an outskirt without a town.
