Not especially colorful. There is one nearby that I usually visit in November to take advantage of its fruits. Good tough wood. I'd like to find a nice straight limb for a hiking stick, but they do not tend to grow straight.

Can you believe he didn’t check! I’ve been checking every bathroom and outhouse! I’ve also had to be creative about finding secluded areas since almost nothing is open. It’s really hard being a women and especially one with a small bladder!

That’s what I expected too. I’m still waiting for the other shoe. It reminds me of the time I was so sick in the French Pyrenees (https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/sete2017/in-foix-a-medical-emergency/) a few years ago. After spending all day in their emergency room, they eventually sent me a bill for 50 euros that was waiting for us when we got home.

I'm having a little trouble wrapping my brain around a $59 ER bill. Surely there must be some zeroes missing.

I love that this Quest is one activity that remains unaffected by Pandemic Pandemonium.

Wise old trees still grow, provide homes for countless critters, and smile down at those humans who recognize their Great Worth.

And you got to have coffee with Bruce!

Hmmm. A modern spiritual, eh?

Well, that's one way to interpret it!

Perceptive! I’ll have to start an album of these. We’ve been seeing entirely too many white pelicans as it is.

How great! I’ve never seen this. I like everything about it, but especially the name Mimi de Jour.

Ill give him a call, and while I'm at it, I'll ask about your refund from Capital One.

So do I. It was really special to see it now, when it was deserted. I didn’t see another person on it for two hours. I’m sure it would normally get more traffic.

Yes, and I wish we could go back soon to use the song again. Frank passed on a much earlier, much weirder version, performed by Gail Farrel and Dick Dale on the Lawrence Welk show: https://bestclassicbands.com/brewer-shipley-lawrence-welk-8-17-18/.

I’m sure if you get in touch with Smith you could get a voucher for use WHFO.

I’ve been trying that mix to good effect for the last week or so. I’ll try biscuit root next for a follow-up test and report back.
