Might be a '53?
4 years agoYou’re right. The perfect spot, and I had my eye out. Nope.
4 years agoThat would be a nice spot for a bench. Or a sitting rock.
4 years agoThey’re pretty high on my list too; and of course they’re so graceful. I always feel lucky to see one, and this makes two days running. We saw a pair that looked even younger than these the day before, but they melted into the trees before I could get the camera out.
4 years agoLittle deer with spots might be about the cutest things on earth--even cuter than bunnies and puppies. Maybe I forgot about little human babies. They're pretty cute too.
4 years agoStranger things have happened, alright. I think we’d have to test it out in the winter, which as I recall is definitely cold and damp - but at this time of year it’s pretty great. Unless of course you want to be in a city, which looks less attractive by the day.

4 years agoOh, my! It certainly is beautiful there.

If so, we would visit!
Looks like cosmos, but not native.

It is lovely. We’re rapidly growing fond of this place. We were really pleased with the Copland overlay too. Looking back at the day, we ended up feeling more hopeful about our country than we have for awhile.

4 years agoLooks lovely up there. And the Aaron Copeland makes it inspiring as well.
4 years agoStylish!
4 years agoYou should be OK. It’s four miles as the crow flies from Lynden to the border, so even under the most pessimistic models that should be adequate social distancing.

You are right. That's a Studebaker . This design ran from 1953 though 1955. A Studebaker fan, like our old friend Chuck, would probably know the actual model year. The design by Raymond Lowey was very advanced for the time and much more modern than anything that other U.S. automakers were manuafacturing at the time. A beautiful car
